Test Run Session For AEV Selangor

Dear participants,

There will be a test run session on this coming Friday, 23 March 2012 (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM). This test run is not compulsory. For those who cannot attend the test run, you can do so on Saturday, 24 March 2012 (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM).

Reminder !!

All vehicles will be quarantined once you register your AEV vehicle.

AEV Melaka Test-run Update !!

Dear participants,

The test-run session for AEV Melaka which schedule to be held on the 16 March 2012 has been POSTPONED to 17 March 2012 due to unavoidable event held at Dewan Bestari during that period. Here are the new schedule for the test-run session:

Time: 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Please take note that the registration will be conducted parallel with the test-run session. Therefore, team(s) that has completed with their test-run must immediately register the vehicle before 9:30 am. Late registration will lead to disqualification.

Additional Info

Dear participants,

Here are some additional info to all AEV designers:

·         Battery usage:

o   School Category must use only the EVEREADY SUPER HEAVY DUTY 1.5V AA Batteries (non-rechargeable). Please take note that maximum voltages allowed is 3 Volts. We do not limit the numbers of battery use as long as the total volts accumulated is not more than 3 Volts.

o   Example 1 (ALLOWED): 

Using 6 units of batteries but in parallel connection to maintain total output is 3 Volts.

o   Example 2 (NOT ALLOWED): 

Using 6 units of batteries but in series connection. Total output is 9 Volts.

o   Open Category is allowed to use any kind of batteries as long the total output does not exceed 12 Volts.

·         Motor usage:

o   There is no restriction on the numbers of motor use in this competition for both categories.

·         AEV starter kit:

o   Only School Category is allowed to use the starter kit provided by the organizer. 

o   Open Category is not allowed to use the starter kit and/or any of the parts to take part in this competition. Team will be disqualified from the competition.

·         Test-run session:

o   It is advisable to bring your AEV design for test-run. Any objections regarding the race track during the competition day will not be entertained.
