Amphibious Electric Vehicle Competition 2011 < Pre Registration >

What is the competition about?

Each team must design an electric vehicle that can move on the ground and water surfaces. Each vehicle must moves on 5 meter ground surface and continue with another 5 meter of water surface until it reaches to the end point. The team with the shortest time possible wins the competition.

Here are some of the Rules & Regulations:

1. Dimension: 30 cm L x 20 cm W

2. Maximum batteries to be used: 2 AA batteries

3. The vehicle must be able to move on the ground and on the water surfaces.

Amphibious Electric Vehicle Competition 2011

Dear participants,

The organizing committee has decided that the Advanced Solar Competition for year 2012 will be "Amphibious Solar Vehicle (ASV)". It means that each team will have to design a vehicle that uses solar power that can travel on the land (ground) and also on the water.

In order to ensure all participants familiar with the "amphibious terms", there will be a preview competition this coming 3rd December 2011 at National Science Centre where all participants will have to design a "Amphibious Electric Vehicle (AEV)" using 2 AA size batteries. Rules & Regulations will be uploaded soon.
