Round Robin 2

Dear participants, the list of participants that are qualified to enter Round Robin 2 has been updated. Please refer to the list under 'MyResultz'. Congratulations to all the qualified teams to Round Robin 2. 

Myrobotz would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay in the match schedule due to the unpredictable weather. Nevertheless, we would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the teams for bearing with us throughout the day!

Announcement: Round Robin 1

Dear participants,

Here are some of the information for Friday's match:

1. Kindly proceed to your respective competition venue once you reach National Science Centre
   - Solar Car situated near the cafeteria
   - Solar Boat situated at the water pool

2. You are required to report-in to the registration counter 15 minutes prior your matches.

3. During the registration, picture of your solar car/boat will be taken and no more changes are allowed.

4. 3 canopies are provided as general working pit as there will be no specific working area for each team.

5. Each team is required to send 1 representative to attend the opening ceremony at 9.30 am.

6. Breakfast and lunch will be provided by MOSTI. Please present your coupon to the food counter located at the side of the cafeteria.

Dear participants,

On 26 May 2011 (Registration Day), the registration counter will be opened from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Therefore, you can come to register your team anytime between that period.

Updated: Solar Boat with 2 hooks

Dear participants,

The picture below is an example of the solar boat with 2 hooks to be attached along the string to prevent the boat from going off track. Participants are required to build-in the 2 hooks on their boats. The distance between the string and the surface of the water is 200 mm (20cm).

Updated Solar Boat Track 

Notification: Solar Boat Race Track Changes

Dear participants,

Due to some unforeseen technical issues and feedback from certain parties in regards to the current race track design dated 14 May 2011,  the technical committee is refining the current design of the race track for solar boat categories (Open & School). We will upload the finalized design before 5:00 pm, 15 May 2011.

Announcement: Battery Specification

Dear participants,

Below are the details of the battery that will be used during the competition:

1. Each team must use ONLY Double A (AA) size non-rechargeable batteries during the entire competition.
2. There will be no restriction in regards to the battery's brand.
3. No batteries will be provided by the organizer during the competition.
